Attorney McCabe focuses on defending individuals accused of a crime, such as DUI, Domestic Violence, Drug Offenses, financial crimes and crimes of violence. Attorney McCabe spent three years practicing criminal defense work at the Hillsborough County Public Defenders Office to learn the tips, tricks, and skills to take your case from the very beginning, all the way through a jury verdict. In that time he handled at least 35 first chair bench trials, and 11 total jury trials. He has defended juvenile cases, adult misdemeanor cases, adult felony cases, and Baker Act cases. Mr. McCabe also worked in the domestic violence division where he defended domestic violence and related crimes exclusively.
Mr. McCabe also represents victims of negligent driving, security, and wrongful death. While in his last year of law school Attorney McCabe worked at a law firm specializing in personal injury. He continued working at the same law firm when he was licensed and practiced personal injury and worker's compensation law. Mr. McCabe then continued practicing personal injury law, representing hundreds of clients at depositions, mediations, examinations under oath, recorded statements, and in litigation.
