Prior to opening the Firm, Morgan Blackledge served as an Assistant Public Defender for the Office of the Public Defender of Maryland for Montgomery County. During her tenure as a Public Defender, she represented thousands of individuals charged with criminal and traffic offenses in Maryland and gained extensive litigation experience in complex criminal defense and traffic defense matters.
Ms. Blackledge received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Atlanta's Georgia State University College of Law. She graduated Cum Laude and earned honors in Evidence, Litigation, Moot Court, and Trial Advocacy. During law school, she fought to exonerate the wrongfully convicted at the Georgia Innocence Project and defended citizens' rights with the Georgia Public Defender Standards Council, Appellate Division.
