Mr. Gill graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rider University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. He attended the University of Richmond, where he graduated at the top of his class and received a Juris Doctorate in 1977. Mr. Gill was admitted to the Virginia bar prior to graduation from law school in 1977 and was also admitted to the New Jersey bar later that year. He is licensed to practice law in the United States District Court and Supreme Court of New Jersey.
In September of 1998, Mr. Gill earned the designation of "Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate" by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, the national accreditation organization of the American Bar Association. Less than 55 lawyers in New Jersey have attained this distinction.
Mr. Gill is also a member of the Board of Governors of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America-NJ (American Association for Justice), the American Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association, Virginia Bar Association, Middlesex County Bar Association and Middlesex County Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Gill holds a civil trial certification from the National College of Advocacy and is certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
Born and raised in Woodbridge, New Jersey, Mr. Gill lives with his wife and three children in New Jersey. He founded the fifteen (15) lawyer firm in 1986. He has practiced trial law in Woodbridge continuously since 1977 and has concentrated on the representation of accident victims for the past twenty (20) years. Since 1977, Mr. Gill has tried hundreds of jury and non-jury trials to conclusion in the areas of general negligence, automobile negligence, medical malpractice and products liability. During that time, he has achieved many multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients.
This year Mr. Gill received the honor of being named one of the "Top Ten Attorneys" in New Jersey for the second consecutive year, from Super Lawyer magazine. Recognized statewide as an innovator in the field of demonstrative evidence and trial tactics, Mr. Gill is a frequent lecturer on these and other related topics for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America both in New Jersey and on the national level. Mr. Gill currently lectures third year students in this area at Seton Hall.
