Travis Williams obtained his Bachelor's degree with honors from Florida State University before going on to law school. He also graduated with honors from Stetson University College of Law. He received the Victor O. Wehle Trial Advocacy Award given to the law school's top trial litigator. During law school, Travis worked for the civil litigation firm of Thompson, Goodis & Thompson and as a Judicial Clerk for the 6th Judicial Circuit.
Travis Williams gained valuable criminal trial law experience as a State Prosecutor for Orange and Osceola Counties in Florida. Travis left the State Attorney's Office in 2002 to pursue a career in criminal defense and personal injury with the goal of helping individuals and their families. He has tried a wide range of cases and spent many hours in both State and Federal courtrooms developing his advocacy skills. Travis is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Florida. In addition to his list of clients, he is occasionally appointed by the U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida to represent individuals charged with federal crimes.
Travis is a member of the Florida and Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, American Bar Association, Florida Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association.
When Travis is not helping his clients, he is typically spending time and enjoying life with his wife, Francee and their three daughters. He also enjoys numerous sports and the outdoors. On Saturdays during the Fall, he can often be found with friends and family in Tallahassee cheering for the Seminoles.
