A Manhattan jury has awarded a Long Island man a whopping $101 million payout for a fall at a 2013 concert that left him with a fractured skull.
Jurors in Manhattan Supreme court decided last Monday that organizer Live Nation should cough up the massive sum to Mark Perez, 36 — who had to undergo four brain surgeries and now suffers from memory loss and requires full-time care after falling from a 10-foot-tall booth at the Jones Beach Marine Theatre in Wantagh.
Perez was setting up the Best Buy booth on June 26, 2013 when a forklift crashed into the structure — causing him to plummet and fracture his skull, according to his 2013 lawsuit.
