Allen J. Scazafabo, Jr. is a partner in the Firm's Family Law Group. Allen has fifteen years of family law and litigation experience including complex civil matters requiring multiple experts and examination of expert witnesses. He has handled numerous complex matters involving disputes over the distribution and valuation of assets and custody disputes.
Allen is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney and an R.1:40 Mediator for post-Early Settlement Panel economic mediation. He has experience handling mediations for cases with a wide range of complexity. He has been selected to serve on the Family Law Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association for the 2017 - 2018 year. Allen has been included on the Super Lawyers "Rising Star" list published by Thomson Reuters every year since 2009. Allen received his J.D. degree from the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law. After law school, he clerked for the Honorable Terrence R. Nealon in the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas. Allen has been a panelist/speaker for the Essex County Family Law Continuing Legal Education Family Law Class as well as being appointed to the Essex County Family Part Non-Dissolution Planning Committee by the Essex County Family Part Presiding Judge.
