Attorney Anthony Knowles is the founder of Knowles Law Firm, PLC and focuses his practice on representing clients in the areas of DUI defense, criminal defense, and personal injury. He is licensed to practice in the Federal Courts, as well as all of the Arizona Courts, including the Superior Court, the City / Municipal Courts and Justice Courts.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Knowles worked as an Arizona police officer, gaining invaluable insight into the proper police procedures, as well as the common mistakes that police officers make in the process of arresting a citizen. He also worked as a legislative aid in the Arizona State House of Representatives in 1993, during which he was given a position in the House Judiciary Committee, which revised a number of criminal codes. From this experience, Mr. Knowles was able to expand his knowledge of the legal system and Arizona law. In total, Mr. Knowles has over 20 years of experience with the Arizona criminal justice system
Since he opened his own practice, Attorney Knowles has been able to successfully defend thousands of accused individuals from all variance of charges. He has also helped many individuals and families who suffered harm as a result of another's negligence. Mr. Knowles is fully committed to making sure that a client can get the best legal representation possible by thoroughly preparing for a trial and treating each case as unique. This is an honor given to less than 5% of attorneys in Arizona, which have succeeded far above their competitors. Mr. Knowles is a member of the Arizona State Bar, as well as the Maricopa County Bar Association.
He has also remained very active in his community in Phoenix, working in his free time as an ice hockey official. He has refereed for the NHL, IHL, WPHL, and WCHL.
