Chris was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin where he majored in History and African American Culture. After graduating from Texas, Chris returned to the Dallas-Forth Worth Metroplex where he attended law school. After law school, Chris began worked with his dad, Bill Knox , as a criminal defense attorney and then was fortunate enough to spend time as a prosecutor with the Dallas County District Attorney's Office. After working as a prosecutor, Chris returned to private practice to resume his true love of defending citizens charged with committing crimes. Chris takes great pride in doing everything possible to best represent his clients in the criminal justice system. He works tirelessly on each case and makes every effort to secure the best possible outcome for each client he represents. Chris Knox has handled well over 1,000 criminal cases and has an impeccable trial record.
Chris Knox has been the guest speaker at CLEs and seminars in the areas of Evidence and Trial Preparation. Recently Chris had the luxury of being a guest speaker at a seminar given to the Dallas Leadership Counsel at the Dallas Police Headquarters. Chris spoke alongside District Judge Dominique Collins and retired Dallas Chief of Police David Kunkle. Additionally, Chris Knox is an active member of The State Bar of Texas, The Eastern and Northern Federal Districts of Texas, The Dallas Bar Association, The Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, The Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, The American Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and National Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
