DOUGLAS BROOKS ROHAN earned his J.D. degree from Florida State University in 2000 and his Bachelor of Science in English Literature and received a minor in History from FSU in 1996. He is active in the Cobb County Bar Association, Gwinnett County Bar Association, Hispanic Bar Association, and the Workers' Compensation Section of the Georgia Bar.
Beyond work, Doug is married and has three daughters. He is active with the Boy Scouts of America serving as Committee Chair for a local troop. He is a member of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, where he serves as a Deacon. He is on the Advisory Board of Around About Walton Magazine. nbsp; As a title sponsor of the Christmas Lights Festival and Ultimate Playdates, he has worked to promote the Friends for East Cobb Park as a private/public cooperative with Cobb Parks and Recreation. He is active as an annual sponsor of the Cobb County Make-A-Wish 5k, sponsoring a team of over 50 runners each year. His community involvement also extends to collecting candy for troops overseas through Operation Stars and Stripes, Inc.
Beyond the community, Doug actively supports the work of World Link Ministries, Inc. He has worked to expand the reach of their fundraising capabilities and continues to speak publicly about the work the organization does worldwide. Finally, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials (GALEO), working to promote civic engagement of the latin and Hispanic community. As a result of that role, he has been a frequent guest of Telemundo Atlanta to address the impact of legal matters on the latino community.
