Erren was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and grew up in Los Angeles, California. In 2004, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Irvine, where he majored in English and minored in Chinese Language and Literature. Erren earned his law degree from the South Texas College of Law in 2013. While in law school, he participated in numerous advocacy and ADR competitions, including both moot court and mock trial, winning numerous awards. Erren also served as law clerk to the Honorable Kyle Carter of the 125th District Court of Harris County, Texas. Prior to law school, Erren worked in a variety of industries, including finance, real estate and entertainment.
Erren represents clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, with a particular emphasis in commercial litigation, personal injury, consumer law, deceptive trade practices, and general litigation. Erren started out with the Moriarty Law Firm as a clerk during law school in 2011. Now as Managing Attorney, he is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the firm.
Erren was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2013 and is also a certified mediator. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Advocacy at South Texas College of Law and Adjunct Professor in Paralegal Studies at Lonestar College.
