A native of Baltimore, Henry Dugan, Jr. received his Bachelor of Arts degree and Phi Beta Kappa from Catholic University in 1966 and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Maryland in 1973.
Mr. Dugan is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia, Maryland and West Virginia.
Mr. Dugan has personally been awarded the prestigious "A/V" rating by Martindale-Hubbell, publisher of the definitive directory of America's Leading Lawyers.
Mr. Dugan is a member of The American College of Trial Lawyers, The American Board of Trial Advocates; The American Association for Justice; The Maryland State Bar, The District of Columbia Bar, The West Virginia Bar and American Bar Associations; The Maryland Trial Lawyers Association; Federal Bar Association; and the American Judicature Society.
Mr. Dugan has been lead trial counsel in obtaining many multimillion dollar verdicts and settlements in medical malpractice and product liability cases across the country. One of Mr. Dugan's closing arguments in a products liability case has been featured in the Million Dollar Arguments series. Mr. Dugan has been a speaker at both National and Local Trial Advocacy seminars.
