A Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 2002, Hillary went on to receive her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2005.
After clerking at Caplan & Tamburino Law Firm, P.A. in 2005 and 2006, Hillary attained a prestigious clerkship with Judge Gordon Shumaker at the Minnesota Court of Appeals. After the Court of Appeals, Hillary became an Associate Attorney at Foley & Mansfield in Minneapolis and was a sought-after freelance legal writer.
Hillary rejoined Caplan & Tamburino Law Firm in January 2010, where she is now an attorney and works on cases ranging from petty misdemeanors to serious felonies. She is licensed in Minnesota and the Federal Court in Minnesota, and speaks frequently at Continuing Legal Education seminars, particularly in the area of driving while intoxicated offenses. Hillary is also responsible for the firm's legal research and writing. Her skills as a writer and researcher are unparalleled and valued by her colleagues and their clients.
