John C. Beroset is a Florida Board Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer, specializing exclusively in the area of criminal defense. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alabama (B.S., Finance, 2000), Mr. Beroset received his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law (2003), where he was awarded the prestigious book award in trial practice in 2002. Mr. Beroset began his legal career as an assistant State Attorney in Florida's First Judicial Circuit, Santa Rosa County, and thereafter joined Beroset & Keene in 2006. Mr. Beroset is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Society of Criminal Defense Bar, Escambia County (President elect), and the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association. Mr. Beroset is a past member of the Inns of Court. Mr. Beroset completed the inaugural NACDL White Collar Criminal Defense College at Stetson University in 2012, and is a 2013 Rising Star with "Super Lawyers." John is also on the Board of Directors of the Pensacola Museum of Art and an avid coach of his son's soccer team.
