Jonathan Cusson is an attorney with over 15 years of experience in serious personal injury lawsuits, primarily focusing on cases of medical negligence. He has handled cases throughout the State of Maryland, its Federal Court system and in the District of Columbia. Mr. Cusson has handled cases involving Wrongful Death of a loved one, general surgical complications, gynecologic surgery complications, orthopedic surgical complications, birth injuries, failure to diagnose cardiac complications, failure to diagnose stroke, failure to diagnose infection, emergency room and other hospital care.

Mr. Cusson graduated as an Academic All-American from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997 and received his law degree from the University of Maryland where he served as an Associate Editor of the Business Lawyer before completing a clerkship for the Honorable Arrie W. Davis of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. Prior to joining the ARFAA Law Group, he was a partner with a prominent law firm specializing in the defense of cases wherein medical negligence was alleged. It was his experience at that firm that led him to realize that there are cases of true medical malpractice, which require a skillful advocate to provide the right kind of representation to victims of improper care and their families.

Mr. Cusson has repeatedly been named to Baltimore Magazine's Super Lawyers in Maryland and is AV rated (Preeminent) by Martindale Hubble, which ranks attorneys based upon ability and adherence to ethical standards. He has successfully tried numerous cases in all areas of the State wherein millions of dollars in damages were at stake. In November 2017, Ms. Arfaa and Mr. Cusson obtained a $18.54 million dollar verdict for a 30 year old man who was not properly resuscitated during a code for a massive pulmonary embolus, this is the largest settlement in a medical malpractice case in history of Baltimore County.
