Ms. Wilson’s interest in criminal law prompted her to major in criminal justice at Dallas Baptist University where some of her professors were experienced law enforcement professionals and criminologists. After graduating from college, Ms. Wilson worked as a probation officer in Dallas and volunteered as a mentor at the Dallas County Youth Center before earning her law degree.
Ms. Wilson has been licensed in Texas since 2001. She has experience in civil and criminal defense litigation. After graduating from law school, Ms. Wilson was an Assistant Attorney General at the Office of Texas Attorney General. She litigated complex federal criminal appeals ranging from parole to robbery and murder and practiced throughout the State of Texas. As a civil lawyer, Ms. Wilson was an associate attorney at two mid-size Houston area law firms and litigated serious bodily injury and death cases.
Ms. Wilson formed her criminal defense practice in 2009. Ms. Wilson has successfully defended the accused in both felony and misdemeanor cases.
Ms. Wilson has been peer-reviewed by members of the bar and the judiciary, and she has achieved an AV Preeminent rating – the highest possible rating for a lawyer in both legal ability and ethical standards. Ms. Wilson is rated Superb by AVVO.
