In addition to his experience representing individual clients, Mathew E. Flatow previously represented businesses in liability, workers' compensation cases, and real estate litigation. Working as counsel for numerous national insurance companies, Mathew E. Flatow developed a strong working knowledge of the insurance industry that he uses to pursue remedies against businesses and insurance companies.
Mathew E. Flatow grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and was a varsity athlete at RJ Reynolds High School. Living only 90 minutes away from Charlotte and avidly supporting the Panthers and Hornets, he always felt a strong connection to the Queen City. After graduating from law school at Wake Forest University, Mathew moved to Charlotte and has enjoyed becoming part of the community. Mathew and his wife Lauren, who is also an attorney in Charlotte, have one young child. Together, they enjoy spending their weekends at the fine parks in Mecklenburg County and taking advantage of the many opportunities for fun and entertainment in Charlotte.
