Megan Bové believes that each Client is a real person with a real story who deserves the best advocate for their interests regardless of the crime accused. She delivers on this idea by approaching each case as a unique set of facts that simply require personal attention and professional guidance in order to minimize potential negative outcomes for her Clients. Due to this personalized approach, Mrs. Bové is able to provide solutions tailored specifically for each Client in a way that large firms cannot.
Mrs. Bové represents clients at trial, on appeal, and in postconviction proceedings in state and federal courts. She is a member of the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association.
She is admitted to practice in Texas as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, United States Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
Mrs. Bové excelled in law school where she competed in numerous mock trial competitions throughout the country and was elected to the Order of Barristers for her trial advocacy skills. She also served as the Chief Notes & Comments Editor for the Houston Business & Tax Law Journal. She is a 2011 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, with honors. She also attended the University of Houston on academic scholarship for her undergraduate education, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree with highest honors.
During law school, Mrs. Bové completed a two year internship with Zimmermann, Lavine, Zimmermann, & Sampson, P.C.--one of Houston's top criminal defense firms--researching and drafting legal memoranda regarding criminal and constitutional issues and helping prepare cases for trial and appeal.
After becoming licensed, Mrs. Bové joined Zimmermann, Lavine, Zimmermann, & Sampson, P.C. as an associate where she gained valuable insight and experience for 3 years in both trial and appellate courts before founding Sampson & Bové, LLC._
