Michael Miller practices in all areas of personal injury litigation including wrongful death, product liability, premises liability and auto accident litigation. Michael is admitted to the Minnesota State Bar and United States Federal District Bar.
Michael is active in many professional organizations and has been elected to serve in the American Bar Association's House of Delegates, the policy making body of the national organization. Michael was also recently nominated and accepted into the ABA Tort, Trial and Insurance Practice Section Leadership Academy. Additionally, Michael has been elected a Fellow to the American Bar Foundation. Only 1% of American lawyers are nominated and elected to become a Fellow. Locally, Michael is a member of the American Inns of Court, Minnesota Amdahl Chapter, and has been active in the Minnesota State Bar and Hennepin County Bar Associations.
Michael has been named to the National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Trial Lawyers, as well as to the National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40. Michael has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine consistently since 2008. The publication asks Minnesota's top lawyers to identify an elite group of emerging lawyers, either under the age of 40 or in practice less than 10 years, who have demonstrated the highest standards of excellence. Only 2.5 percent of the state's attorneys are named to the list. In 2010, Michael received Minnesota Lawyer's "Up and Coming Attorneys" award reserved for attorneys who have distinguished themselves during their first 10 years of practice. Michael was one of 25 honorees selected.
Michael began working at SiebenCarey as a law clerk before graduating from William Mitchell College of Law. Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as a judicial extern in the U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota, clerked for two Hennepin County District Court Judges, and represented clients through William Mitchell's Civil Advocacy Clinic, successfully arguing before the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Michael has guest lectured/presented at the University of Minnesota Law School, University of St. Thomas Law School and at Hamline University School of Law. Michael's dedication to service is evident to all who know him.
