Mohamad Ahmad is a founding partner of Kermani LLP, a graduate of the UCLA School of Law, and a former judicial extern to the Honorable Dale Fischer of the Central District of California. As a first-year law student Mohamad was ranked in the top 7% of his class. Over the past decade, Mohamad has litigated numerous multi-million dollar cases across the country, including in the state and federal courts of California, Georgia, Texas, Nevada, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Mississippi.
Mohamad's practice currently focuses primarily on catastrophic personal injury litigation. He has been selected as a Super Lawyers ?Rising Star? since 2018, an honor awarded to the top 2.5 percent of lawyers in the Southern California area under 40 years of age, and has also been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers as one of the top 40 lawyers under the age of 40.
Previously, Mohamad served as lead defense counsel in federal cases across the country filed by health insurers seeking nearly half a billion dollars in damages from clinical laboratories and medical providers. In 2019, Mohamad served as co-counsel against a nationwide retailer for the wrongful death of a child, and secured a $7.5 Million settlement for his clients, which is believed to be the largest wrongful death award for a child in Georgia's history. In the same month, Mohamad obtained a $4.49 Million settlement for his clients in a business dispute on the eve of Plaintiff's MSJ hearing.
