Patrick Angel has always had a passion for upholding what is right and seeking justice for those who cannot do it for themselves. That is why after he graduated from high school in his hometown of Bossier City, Louisiana, he enlisted in the Marine Corps. Quickly rising through the ranks at Camp Pendleton in California, he was a respected Sergeant when the Gulf War broke out in August of 1990. His dedication and determination steeled him for the hardships ahead when his battalion arrived in the Persian Gulf and his infantry unit became part of the Marine Corps’ prestigious Task Force Ripper, serving as the vanguard for offensive combat operations of the First Marine Division.
Over the course of his career, Patrick’s dedication to his clients and his unflagging pursuit of excellence in practice have earned him numerous accolades, such as membership in The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers, the “Superb” score on Avvo, and the prestigious Super Lawyers rating, available to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the state. Patrick was recently inducted into the Nation’s Top One Percent group of the NDAC and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocate’s Forum.
Attorney Patrick Angel has never strayed from his beliefs and continues to follow what he believes to be the absolute best set of practices for the people who require his representation. In recent years, he has fought for the rights of his clients in personal injury cases cases both numerous and complex, from asbestos exposure lawsuits and wrongful death cases to car accident cases and premises liability cases. Logging hundreds of hours in depositions, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations, Patrick’s own experience with all aspects of a client’s case – from initial preparations to the courtroom proceedings – cannot bcontested.
Now an active member of the Oregon State Bar, Attorney Angel remains committed to protecting the innocent by alerting consumers about dangerous or recalled products. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Multnomah County Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. He has been an active member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) for over ten years. He is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Oregon, including the Oregon Court of Appeals and the (Federal) U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, and has appeared in several of them.
From Medford to Portland to even La Grande, Patrick has fought for the exploited and injured all over Oregon State. If someone needs an Angel on their side, you can bet he will be there and offering the utmost client services and bringing unparalleled talents with him.
When he’s not fighting for clients, Patrick enjoys backpacking and camping, reading, cheering for the Cal Bears, eating traditional Louisiana cuisine, and growing heirloom tomatoes – no easy task in the Northwest! More than anything, though, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife Amy and his ten year old daughter.
