Scott W. Leeds is a practicing attorney and managing partner of The Cochran Firm, South Florida. He specializes in medical malpractice, personal injury and complex commercial litigation. In preparation for his career, Scott obtained his Bachelor of Science (BS) in pharmacy from St. John’s University in 1979, where he also became a licensed pharmacist in New York and Florida. He matriculated at the University of Miami School of Law and attained his Juris Doctorate (JD) in 1983. Scott is admitted to practice before all State and Federal Courts in Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Society of Pharmacy Law, The Florida Justice Association and The National Trial Lawyers Association. Moreover, Scott has litigated several high-profile cases to verdict or settlement and recently obtained a $700 Million Dollar Verdict for a family who lost their son in a tragic incident. With experience in both pharmacy and law, Scott is a frequent lecturer to legal and medical organizations.
