As a managing partner in The Cochran Firm's Miami office, Scott Leeds focuses his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, and personal injury litigation. He has litigated numerous high-profile cases to verdict or settlement, including what came to be known as the "Cuban Spy Case." Scott served as lead counsel and obtained a $27 million verdict on behalf of his client. A graduate of St. John's University in Pharmacy, Scott became a licensed pharmacist in New York and Florida. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. With experience in areas of pharmacy and law, Scott is a frequent lecturer to both legal and medical organizations.
