Stacey Erin Burke was born in Houston, Texas as a fourth-generation Houstonian. She attended Spring Branch Junior High and Memorial High School, graduating in 1994. She grew up as part of a family business, and learned the value of entrepreneurship at an early age from her father, Lucky Burke. As a child, she watched her father work seven days a week to turn a small- to medium-sized family business into an international distribution powerhouse.
Ms. Burke is the proud mother of two young daughters who both attend The Kinkaid School, and the loving owner of Ruby, a French Bulldog. She enjoys reading, writing, social media, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Ms. Burke began her legal career interning at the Travis County District Attorneys Office during her college days at the University of Texas. She graduated early from UT in 1997 with a Bachelor of Journalism in Public Relations. She was accepted early decision to the University of Houston Law Center, and graduated in 2001, becoming licensed to practice law in Texas that same year. In addition to her personal injury career, she has worked in immigration law, poverty law, served as in-house counsel for a business, and worked with judges and with candidates for public office.
She now focuses her attention on providing business development and marketing strategical advice to law firms and legal vendors across the country. She also conducts law firm infrastructure assessments and advises firms and other companies how to become more efficient with their technology and their staffing choices.
