Founder & Lead Attorney
Prior to founding the law firm of Marino Associates, Mr. Marino was the law partner of the Honorable Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Kevin M. Dougherty in the law firm of Marino & Dougherty, LLP.  Mr. Marino has served as a Philadelphia County Assistant District Attorney and legal adviser to the Honorable Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas Judge Kevin M. Dougherty, Administrative Judge of the Trial Division.  Mr. Marino is counsel for the most prominent labor union in the Philadelphia region, Local Union No. 98, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers' Union. He has been listed as an attorney who has received the top 100 verdicts in Pennsylvania by Verdict Search. He is a trial lawyer with courtroom experience in excess of twenty-five (25) years, trying both civil and criminal jury trials to verdict in both the Pennsylvania state and the United States federal courts.

Mr. Marino's practice is concentrated in areas of complex litigation; he has extensive experience in all aspects of trial practice.  Steven Marino focuses his practice in areas of personal injury, wrongful death, and survival actions, including injuries and catastrophic loss arising from motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, employment discrimination, premise liability, work related accidents, workers' compensation claims and has been called upon to serve as lead counsel in complex litigation involving Civil-RICO and ERISA claims.  Because of its complexity, requiring the trial skills of an experienced criminal defense attorney and a comprehensive understanding of the medico-legal aspects of alcohol, Mr. Marino specializes in Driving Under the Influence (DUI) defense and is recognized as one of Philadelphia's premier DUI defense attorneys.
