Travis Drew Eden Mydock, B.C.S. is a Board Certified Specialist and Expert in Criminal Trial Law as recognized by The Florida Bar.  Less than 1% of all licensed attorneys in Florida hold this distinction. Attorneys who are Board Certified by The Florida Bar are tested for their expertise and evaluated for their professionalism.  Additionally, they must complete advanced continuing legal education requirements and a minimum of 25 criminal trials  to verdict. In addition to being a specialist and expert, Mr. Mydock also maintains a perfect 10 attorney rating on AVVO.

From 2010 to 2015, Mr. Mydock served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Seventh Judicial Circuit (Saint Johns, Flagler, Putnam, and Volusia counties). He tried cases in the felony, misdemeanor, and DUI divisions. He also acted as the drug trafficking prosecutor and internship director in Saint Johns County. Mr. Mydock prosecuted multiple high profile cases while at SAO7 including four homicide cases that resulted in convictions at trial. In 2014, he appeared in a nationwide television segment by ABC 20/20 about an extortion and aggravated cyberstalking case that he prosecuted. In 2015, Mr. Mydock earned the SAO7 "Top Gun" Trial Award.

Mr. Mydock is an active leader in the legal profession at state and local levels. He currently serves as President of the St. Johns County Bar Association (2018). Since 2015, he has represented the Seventh Judicial Circuit on the Board of Governors for the Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar. He also currently serves as an investigating attorney for the Seventh Judicial Circuit Bar Grievance Committee B of The Florida Bar. Additionally, Mr. Mydock is a member of Traffic Court Rules Committee of the Florida Bar,  the Criminal Law Section of The Florida Bar, and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Mydock has taught Continuing Legal Education courses for the Saint Johns County Bar Association and The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division. He also is frequently invited to judge UF College of Law's national trial competition.

Mr. Mydock was born and raised in Gainesville, FL. He attended the University of Florida for undergradute and law school. He earned his finance degree in 2006 and law degree in 2009. While at UF,

Mr. Mydock was a member of Florida Blue Key, a Certified Legal Intern in the felony division of the State Attorney's Office (Alachua County), and a teaching assistant for a law school course in Trial Practice.
