For more than ten years, Ms. White has successfully focused her talents on labor and employment law.  She has obtained verdicts and settlements in the six and seven figures.  Ms. White handles primarily employment discrimination and wrongful termination cases, including claims on behalf of whistleblowers.

In 2014, Ms. White and co-counsel were successful in having the California Court of Appeal affirm a $287,400 jury verdict on behalf of a low wage earner single mother who experienced various adverse actions in the workplace, but not termination.  Taylor v. Long Beach Memorial Medical Center (2014) 2014 WL 1255314.  That case resulted in attorney’s fees in excess of 2 million.  Ms. White was successful in 2014 with resolving a race discrimination and retaliation case on behalf of two minimum wage, short term, employees in an amount in excess of $300,000 each.  These employees also brought a companion wage and hour class action on behalf of themselves and others similarly situated, which resulted in more than 1.4 million total in settlements for both cases combined.

Ms. White is currently litigating cases representing health care professionals who have been wrongfully terminated and retaliated against due to complaining of patient safety issues and for being patient care advocates.  In addition to individual discrimination cases, Ms. White has represented plaintiffs in various wage and hour class actions.

As a seasoned lawyer, Ms. White has also been involved in landmark cases before the California Court of Appeals concerning employee rights. Johnson v. United Cerebral Palsy (2009) 173 Cal.App.4th 740, established groundbreaking California precedent for the admissibility of me too evidence (also known as “other victims of discrimination evidence”) in employment discrimination cases.

Ms. White is a graduate of the prestigious Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College.  She holds a degree in Engineering from the University of Southern California and received her law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law. Ms. White is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the Consumer Attorneys of California, and The National Trial Lawyers.
