NTL member Jose Baez writing book about defending Aaron Hernandez

Posted on January 30, 2018 by Andrew Findley

Jose BaezNational Trial Lawyers member Jose Baez promises “shocking revelations” in his new book about defending NFL star Aaron Hernandez on murder charges, according to the Associated Press. Unnecessary Roughness: The Life and Death of Aaron Hernandez is scheduled for release in August, and publisher Hachette says it will be the “definitive, insider” story on Hernandez, who was found hanging in his cell last April. Hernandez’s fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins, cooperated with Baez on the book, and has written a foreword. After his death, doctors discovered that Hernandez had the most severe case of CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) ever seen in a person his age, according to The Washington Post. Hernandez was 27 and a former tight end for the New England Patriots.
